What is the child ticketing policy?

A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.

On which days does the tour operate?

The Big Bus Deluxe & Night tour is operating Friday - Monday between May- October. Occasionally severe weather and special event days including the Chicago Marathon could affect our service.

Do I need to specify a date for travel?

No. Your ticket entitles you to travel on the day of your choice. If you purchase a ticket that offers validity for more than 1 day, you must travel on consecutive days.


Big Bus operates wheelchair accessible vehicles that can accommodate a weight up to 650 pounds. Please be advised that the upper deck on our entire fleet is not wheelchair accessible. Passengers with mobility requirements may not be able to access the upper deck of our buses. Big Bus cannot guarantee the accessibility of the various attractions along the tour.

See the entire skyline lit up from the Museum Campus, discover River North’s vibrant nightlife scene, and travel every inch of Michigan Ave from The Magnificent Mile to The Cultural Mile, all in one exciting loop. Need-to-Know: The Big Bus Night Tour lasts 75 minutes and is a non-stop, panoramic tour. Tours depart from our stop at Navy Pier at 7:30pm. The Big Bus Night tour is operating Friday - Monday between May- October only.
